Obviously people have things they disagree on in life, women rights, integrated schools, etc. Many people disagree on Gay Rights. Yes, the gay rights issue is important, most people say it isn’t, but why? Because it isn’t “normal”, it isn’t “natural”.  Some of these things people say against gay rights can be proven logical and true, but saying “gay marriage will lead to substance abuse” is rather illogical.
In a “gay” marriage, two same-sex’d people cannot produce a child on their own, but if they want a child, they can easily adopt. Adoption is always a good thing, giving children who do not have a home, a comforting house.
People may say that gays shouldn’t be allowed to marry because they will get “special treatments”. Have you ever  thought that they just want to be just as equal as you? Maybe that they aren’t in it for “special treatment” but that they are in it for love and being able to express their love in the same way “straights” do in their marriage.
Yes, gay sex  may be “unnatural” and “not normal”, but why does it matter to you what they do in their beds? Mind your own business. Besides, even if you don’t approve of the “gays”, the things they do will still happen, regardless of what you think.
Some say that approving the gay rights is something so big society would not be able to grasp ahold of it. To me, this is one of the stupidest reasons to not approve of the gay rights. Society has adapted to women rights, cars, air conditioners, television, computers, a black president, and you’re saying gay rights is too big to grasp ahold of? Get a reality check.
One of the biggest insults, reasoning, whatever you want to call it, against gay rights is that,
 “Being a homosexual is a choice,they are choosing to be gay. So if they really wanted to marry, they can just turn straight and marry the opposing gender.”
No. It has been scientifically proven that the reason people are gay is due to a chemical imbalance at birth.
Yes, a gay marriage may deny a child a father or a mother, but what about single parents? It basically falls under the same category. Yes, a single parent may eventually marry, but that isn’t the childs real father or mother, therefore denying it either/or. Just be thankful the child has someone to be there for them in their maturing days. Children will also need a male or female role model around the house. This is true, but it doesn’t always have to be around the house. It could be friends, family, school teachers, etc.
One of the most aggravating things people have said is that gays are not human… they are animals. Um, excuse me? Gays are just as human as anyone in the world. They breathe, blink, think, move and act just the same as we do.
I, for one, do not believe that people should not be able to hate on someone just because of their sexual orientation. Just because someone is “gay”, “bi”, or “lesbian” does not mean their personality is any different than someone who is “straight.” I believe anyone who “hates” on gays have so much more to learn in life. You may not always work, live, or grow up with something you like, but you will learn to accept it regardless. Things can’t always be “your way”. 
They are people, too, not some rare disease.
